Title & Total Compensation Project Open Fora set for Monday, Nov. 12 and Wednesday, Nov. 14

The UW System has embarked on a complete redesign of its current classification and compensation structure. The goal of the Title and Total Compensation Project is to modernize the existing title and compensation programs in an effort to attract and retain the best talent for the organization. Please plan to attend the next set of open fora, which will include up-to-date information about the proposed job framework, standard job descriptions and an upcoming benefits preference survey. Open fora will take place on:

  • Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Christie Theatre located in UW-Green Bay’s University Union
  • Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Christie Theatre located in UW-Green Bay’s University Union

Triple Jazzfest to take place on UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus on Monday, Nov. 19

Triple Jazzfest will be coming to UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus on Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the University Theater. Wade Heinen’s Jazz Ensemble I from South High School will open the festivities, Associate Lecturer Paul Sucherman (Music) will lead the Jazz Ensemble of UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus and Jeff Schieble’s Generations Big Band will be featured as a special guest group. Box office opens at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and are free to all students with a college ID.

Call for nominations for named professorships

Nominations are now being accepted for the following named professorships:

  • Philip J. and Elizabeth Hendrickson Professorship for Business
  • Barbara Hauxhurst Cofrin Professorship of Natural Sciences
  • Patricia Wood Baer Professorship in Education

Reminder: Spring 2019 Human Mosaic submissions due on Monday, Nov. 19

Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA) is taking event submissions for Spring 2019 Human Mosaic. The Human Mosaic is intended to collect UW-Green Bay programs that relate to diversity.  Submissions are welcome from all four campuses. The Human Mosaic is traditionally distributed to UW-Green Bay students, staff and faculty at the beginning of the semester. Please complete an online submission for each event.
