The Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at UW-Green Bay held an Open House event March 2, gathering students, faculty, staff and community members to celebrate the school’s new look and unveil the portrait of its namesake. Attendees shared thoughts and reflections on the event and what it means to students, the University and the larger community.

Art teacher Candice (Kaiser) Boutelle, who has a little metals and jewelry and sculpture experience herself from her days at UW-Green Bay, wanted her students to see how it’s done at the college level. Boutelle, who received her bachelor’s in art education here in 2006, lined up a hands-on field trip last Friday (March 2) at the University’s Studio Arts Building. She was accompanied by about 30 young artists from Denmark High School.
