UW-Green Bay grad talks gluten-free Thanksgiving

Faculty and staff who remember Lee Hrykas, a May 2012 summa cum laude graduate of UW-Green Bay’s Human Biology program, got a kick out of seeing him on a WBAY-TV 2 news report last week. Hyrkas was interviewed as a guest expert on the issue of people with celiac’s disease enjoying a gluten-free Thanksgiving. He’s not a sufferer himself, but is knowledgeable about it through his professional work as a registered dietician with Bellin Hospital. Hyrkas studied nutritional science and completed the dietetics internship program here. See the clip.
