Weidner Center’s 17-run ‘Lombardi’ show is in the news

“Neil Friedman will reprise his role as Vince Lombardi for the Weidner Center stage. The Chicago actor will portray the legendary Green Bay Packers coach in ‘Lombardi,’ opening Feb. 22 at the Weidner. He’ll be joined by Carmen Roman as Lombardi’s wife, Marie. Both starred in the same roles for Peninsula Players’ production of the Eric Simonson play in 2012 in Door County. It will be the first professional production of ‘Lombardi’ in Green Bay. It’s scheduled to run for 17 performances through March 10 in the Weidner’s intimate Fort Howard Hall.” Kendra Meinart of the Green Bay Press-Gazette has the story.
