In the news: Students, Arendt see better job market for mid-year grads

UW-Green Bay’s mid-year graduates are optimistic about the job market they’re entering, faculty and students told WLUK, Fox 11 News this weekend. Reporter Kelly Schlicht was at Saturday’s (Dec. 15) Commencement ceremony, talking to newly minted alumni and Cofrin School of Business Director Lucy Arendt about the road ahead. “We’re looking at a job climate that’s probably the best it’s been in maybe four years,” Arendt said. “Generally speaking, our graduates do find jobs.” Fox 11 talked to three grads — one with a job lined up, one who’s still looking and a third who’s grad school bound.
