Oct. 11 Dinner Lecture event features Andean cuisine

Prof. Gabriel Saxton-Ruiz and visiting Scholar in Residence Alex Godoy-Faúndez will keynote an evening of delectable education Thursday, Oct. 11, when the recently revived Dinner Lecture Series features the Andean region of South America. The menu will feature such authentic Andean cuisine as Grilled Beef Antichuchos Skewers (Peruvian Beef Kebabs); Corvina a La Chorillana (Peruvian Fish in Spicy Tomato Sauce); and Papa a la Huancaina (Peruvian Potatoes). Saxton-Ruiz and Godoy-Faúndez will offer an interdisciplinary style presentation on various aspects of the region’s gastronomy and eco-friendly advances in the food industry.
