Call for proposals for next ‘Common Theme’

Already distributed campuswide but repeated here for the record is a call for proposals from Scott Furlong, dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The University is seeking suggestions for what will be the 2012-13 “Common Theme.”  (The theme this academic year, “Celebrating Differences, Creating Community,” is the focus of a diverse array of programming including a November appearance by nationally known poet and activist Nikki Giovanni.)
