Nigerian educators visit UW-Green Bay

UW-Green Bay’s Institute for Learning Partnership and Professional Program in Education will welcome a contingent of visiting educators from Nigeria next week, hosting nine teachers and administrators for five days of learning and cultural exchange. Their visit will be focused on professional development, with numerous sessions and on- and off-campus events scheduled to cover and address a variety of subjects. The visitors will learn about and discuss such topics as teaching methods, integrating writing across the curriculum, developing language programs, emotional intelligence, cultural diversity in the K-12 classroom and more. They’ll spend time at St. Norbert College and in the K-12 schools, with plenty of time here on our campus. Welcome, visitors!
