Reminder: Chamber Ensembles performance on Wednesday (May 8)

Presented by UW-Green Bay Music, Chamber Ensembles will be performing at the Weidner Center’s Fort Howard Hall on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. From complex African rhythms, to lofty brass fanfares and the avant-garde sounds of post-1945 works, UW-Green Bay Chamber Ensembles offer something for every musical taste. Hand Drumming and New Music Ensembles, led by Assistant Prof. Bill Sallak (Music), will be joined by the Clarinet Ensemble, led by Associate Prof. Eric Hansen (Music), and the Brass Ensemble, led by Associate Prof. Adam Gaines (Music), for this intimate concert of small musical groups. Reminder on Friday concert

UW-Green Bay Music will present an enjoyable and unconventional concert Friday, May 10, when the University’s New Music and Hand Drumming ensembles take the stage in the University Theatre. The New Music Ensemble, under the direction of UW-Green Bay Associate Prof. Adam Gaines, will be followed by the Hand Drumming Ensemble, under the direction of Prof. Cheryl Grosso. See details.
