UW-Green Bay Communication students celebrated past, present and future, Feb. 24-27, 2020 including a best projects showcase and film festival. The events, as well as a banquet Feb. 27, concluded Communication Week 2020. The “Competitive Spark Endowment,” funded by Dental City, provided $2,000 in awards to be divided among the winners of Comm Week events. Dental City is a Green Bay-based distributor of dental supplies, with deep connections to the University, including many UW-Green Bay alumni employees. Through Competitive Spark, Dental City aims to turn the traditional merit-based award process upside down by rewarding performance in structured competitions including Comm Week, Business Week and Innovation in Aging.
