What is Phoenix Friday? A few years ago, a small group of employees from across campus joined forces to infuse more Phoenix spirit into the workday. They came up with the term “Phoenix Friday,” a time when faculty, staff, students, alumni and community can celebrate everything “Phoenix” and/or “UW-Green Bay.” Employees (with permission from their supervisors) are encouraged to dress more casually, as long as they wear apparel with UW-Green Bay school colors, or UW-Green Bay logos. Every Friday The Phoenix Bookstore offers great deals; and members of the Phoenix Family are reminded that Fridays (and Saturdays and Sundays) are great days to return to campus with family and friends for the many activities our college campus offers.
