Alumna joins Advancement as fundraising specialist
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has hired alumna Tracy Heaser to coordinate all of the annual fundraising programs for the University.
As a development officer, Heaser will coordinate the annual alumni campaign, the faculty and staff campaign, the community campaign and the senior-class-gift campaign. She will work in the University Advancement Office.
Fundraising continues to grow in priority for the University, where approximately one-quarter of the annual budget comes from state taxpayers. The University relies increasingly on private grants and gifts, tuition and fees, and program revenue from various operations.
Before coming to UW-Green Bay, Heaser worked as the marketing communications coordinator for Prevea Health. Prior to that, she worked as a communications specialist with On Broadway, Inc.
Heaser earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication at UW-Green Bay in 2005. She also has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
Heaser will start on Jan. 3, 2011.
