Cofrin School of Business presents sessions with international expert
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Austin E. Cofrin School of Business will present renowned businessman and speaker Robert Daudt, founder of ChinaPlus Capital investment bank, for campus and community sessions on Chinese/American business mergers and acquisitions on Monday, Nov. 28.
The visit will include a daytime session for UW-Green Bay students and the campus community from 10:30 a.m.-noon, and an evening session for the business community from 4-5:30 p.m. Both will be held in Phoenix Room B of the University Union on campus, 2420 Nicolet Drive.
Daudt ‘s presentations will cover a variety of topics, including cultural differences between the United States and China; the Chinese education system, business climate and perception of American business; and buying and selling business in China and the United States.
Daudt has had a distinguished career spanning 25 years in the business world. He has been involved in more than 120 acquisitions and divestitures in both the United States and China, has worked for more than 14 years in China and started the first Sino-American underground construction joint venture in that country. Daudt holds a bachelor of science in finance from the University of Minnesota and a juris doctorate from the William Mitchell College of Law, in addition to his CPCU, AAI and CBI designations. Prior to founding ChinaPlus Capital, he was managing director of Lazard Middle Market in Shanghai. He sits on the boards of several companies in the United States and China, and is a frequent lecturer and speaker.
