UW-Green Bay to celebrate Constitution Day
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is commemorating the signing of the U.S. Constitution with a special program featuring a historical actor portraying one of the founding fathers.
Nationally known actor Ian Rose will portray Alexander Hamilton at the program on Friday, Sept. 17 at 1 p.m. in Phoenix Room B of the University Union, 2420 Nicolet Drive.
The program, which is open to the public, marks the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution. Thirty-nine men signed the document on Sept. 17, 1787.
The event is part of the 25th anniversary of The Historical Perspectives Lecture Series. The annual series is presented by the Center for History and Social Change, part of the academic program in Social Change and Development.
