UW-Green Bay Outreach, Bellin College offer ‘Life’s a Lab Reality Science Camp’
Students entering grades 10 through 12 in fall 2013 can enroll now for the Life’s a Lab Reality Science Camp, Sunday, July 28-Wednesday, July 31, at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, 2420 Nicolet Drive.
The camp is a partnership between UW-Green Bay’s Summer Camp program, in the Office of Outreach and Adult Access, and Bellin College. For students interested in health careers such as physical therapy, sports medicine, radiology, emergency medical and research, this camp will offer lab experiences in the mornings and tours of professional clinics and other medical facilities in the afternoons. Mortuary Science is added to the curricular lineup this year.
Camp Director and Associate Prof. Amanda Nelson from UW-Green Bay’s Human Biology department will provide instruction in UW-Green Bay labs for part of the day, while instructors from the Bellin College team will coordinate tours and facility visits in the afternoons.
