Lawton Gallery to present exhibition of graduating seniors’ works

UW-Green Bay graduating seniors will have the opportunity to showcase their art works Tuesday, April 15 through Thursday, May 8 during the Senior Exhibition at the Lawton Gallery in Theatre Hall.

Six senior Art majors will exhibit their works in a variety of media, including paint, wood, ceramics, jewelry and more. The exhibit will include a reception, during which scholarship awards will be announced, from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 27 in the gallery.

The six exhibiting seniors and their respective media are as follows:

Ryan Bartel: Various metals (copper, enamel, silver) used in jewelry works
Tyler Evans: Ceramics
Billy Wenner: Mixed media, wood carving, painting and glass
Justine Lasley: Sculpture and mixed media
Kristina Dishno: Ceramic with distinctive surface designs created in part by using horsehair in the firing phase
Alyssa Gruenwald: Photographic works

Located in Room 230 of Theatre Hall, the Lawton Gallery is open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday during fall and spring semesters. All gallery events are free and open to the public.
