‘American Idol’ winner David Cook coming to Weidner Center

GREEN BAY — Things will heat up in Green Bay this February. American Idol winner David Cook performs live Friday, Feb. 20, at the Weidner Center for Performing Arts. The concert starts at 9 p.m.

With hits songs Time of my Life and Light On, Cook is climbing the Billboard charts and truly earning his title of American Idol. Cook released his self-titled album in November.

Tickets are $5 for UW-Green Bay students and $10 for the general public.

Student tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26. Tickets for the general public go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30. Tickets will be available through the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay University Ticketing office located in the University Union, 2420 Nicolet Drive. Tickets can also be ordered by calling (920) 465-2400 or online at www.uwgb.edu/tickets. Ticket prices are subject to additional handling fees.
