Alien sign at UW-Green Bay?
Weird reflection?
A Roswell self-portrait?
An apocalyptic apparition?
We have no reason to believe the photo has been doctored. It was captured recently on a building facade (Mary Ann Cofrin Hall) at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, in the campus quad area bounded by MAC Hall, the University Union, the Cofrin Library and the Student Services Building.
Our anonymous informant and photographer (OK, it was Carl from the Registrar’s Office) says he snapped this shot at about 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 18). We agree: The truth is out there. Way out there, perhaps, in the form of an advance scouting party of alien invaders, maybe? Was it coincidence this appeared just days before the giant atmospheric disruption that produced Thursday’s blizzard, on the eve of the so-called Mayan Apocalypse? Or, is it simply yet another example of ‘art bombing’ that has been all the rage on campus this past semester? Stay tuned.
