Answering the call at ‘Help,’ Boerschinger signs on with IT

UW-Green Bay has a new face on its IT User Support team. Kevin Boerschinger starts as the new Help Desk manager on Monday (Dec. 21). He has many years of experience serving customers, and has worked for the past 11 years as a help desk technician and help desk supervisor at Shopko Stores LLC. “He is knowledgeable about Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Office, networking, and much more,” says Diane Blohowiak. “In addition, he is a delightful person who enjoys helping others.” Of interest to the university’s Mac users, Boerschinger will work with Josh Goldman to administer campus Macintoshes and will participate in desktop development, update, and annual rollout operations. When he’s not at the help desk, he may be found in his private office in the User Support suite. His extension will be x2399. Concludes Blohowiak: “Please join us in making Kevin feel welcomed at UW-Green Bay. Besides, it’s really in your best interest to be nice – you may need him one of these days!”
