Phoenix maintains spot in ESPN/USA Today poll

Just as we long suspected! Bobby Knight was right: Basketball coaches are intellectually superior to sportswriters. While the AP writers dropped UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team from the Top 25 following Sunday’s close loss at Marquette, the 9-1 Phoenix remains a presence in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll, at No. 23. That’s down six spots from last week, but still darn good. See for yourself.
