Feingold congrats for UW-Green Bay’s Gurung
When UW-Green Bay Prof. Regan A.R. Gurung (at right in photo) was honored Nov. 19 in Washington, D.C. as the CASE state professor of the year, it included a meeting with U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold.
Feingold was unable to make the awards presentation hosted by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. That’s where Gurung was one of 50 national educators honored for excellence in undergraduate teaching.
The junior senator from Wisconsin, however, had his office contact Gurung to set up a short meeting at work. Feingold stepped out of a judicial hearing to congratulate Gurung and chat about the award and UW-Green Bay. Click here for more details on the award, Gurung’s selection and his career in Green Bay.
