IDC fall 2009 Teaching Enhancement Grants

The Instructional Development Council approved the following six Teaching Enhancement Grant proposals for the fall semester:

  • $650 for Assistant Prof. Jennifer Zapf to attend and present two sessions at the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, Bloomington, Ind., Oct. 22-25
  • $650 for Assistant Prof. Tim Dale to attend and present at the Turning Technologies National User Conference, Las Vegas, Nev., Oct. 12-13
  • $400 for Prof. Illene Noppe to attend and present at the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, Bloomington, Ind., Oct. 21-25.
  • $500 for Assistant Prof. Kate Burns to attend the Teaching and Personality Psychology Conference in Las Vegas, Nev., Jan. 28, 2010.
  • $700 for Associate Prof. Victoria Goff to attend the National College Media Convention in Austin, Texas, Oct. 28-Nov. 1.
  • $550 for Assistant Prof. Kimberly Baker to attend and present at the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, Bloomington, Ind., Oct. 21-25.

The IDC invites and reviews in the fall and spring Teaching Enhancement Grant proposals that will support professional development activities. Spring 2010 proposals will be due March 5, 2010. Application materials can be found online.
