24-point Buck leads way for Green Bay
Appropriate for the opening day of deer season, it was a Buck who led the Phoenix women to an 84-52 rout of Duquesne in the team’s home opener Saturday at the Kress Events Center. Tesha Buck had a career-high six three-pointers, finishing with a game-high 24 points, tying her career-best for points in a game. Ellen Edison scored a season-high 14 points, going 3-for-3 from long range. Green Bay will now head to Naples, Fla., for the Gulf Coast Showcase and an opener at 11 a.m. CST Friday (Nov. 28) vs. Georgia Tech. More on Saturday’s game.
