Phoenix women stun No. 24 Purdue in double overtime

Picking up one of the biggest road wins in the program’s great history, the Green Bay women’s basketball team upset 24th-ranked Purdue 81-78 in double overtime on Wednesday evening at Mackey Arena. The Phoenix fought back from down 10 with just over eight minutes remaining in regulation to force the first overtime, before surviving a late scare to push it into double overtime. Sophomore Mehryn Kraker had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the way, but there were plenty of stars. For all the happy details.
