Faculty note: Steiner at Oxford

Dr. Linda Steiner, a faculty member with Adult Degree, Human Development and Psychology, has learned that her paper, “The Mass Marketing of Inequality: Perpetuating Female Subservience One Schema at a Time,” has been accepted for publication in Oxford University’s peer-reviewed journal The Forum on Public Policy. Steiner presented the paper at Oxford’s Round Table Symposium on Women and Social Justice last July. In response to a second invitation from Oxford, she will be returning in March 2011 to present her paper “Women’s Studies: Equal Representation or Academic Marginalization” at the Round Table Symposium on The Nature of Women’s Studies in Universities. Steiner, an applied social psychologist, has been employed as a lecturer at UW-Green Bay since 2000.
