Top 1% finish for senior business capstone students

UW-Green Bay’s Strategic Management business capstone class team of Carol Brehmer, Jarred Glowinski, Kaitlin Klein, Aaron Schmitz and Melissa Xiong (all Business Administration majors), finished the week of Nov. 4, 2019 in a tie for the 28th best team out of 3,083 teams from 149 different universities. Each week, the best-performing companies are measured on performance variables such as overall score, earnings per share, return on equity and stock price.

Each team member fills an executive role on the team; Brehmer serves as CEO, with Glowinski as CFO, Klein and Schmitz as co-CMOs and Xiong as CHRO. Five teams of Business Administration and Accounting majors in the Strategic Management capstone section 2 class run their global drone and action camera manufacturing company by taking into account the global economy, past years’ financial and market performances and unique contract opportunities in each year of the global business simulation. In the last half of the capstone course, each day of class serves as the next year in the strategic planning process.
