Book puts Weidner Center among top acoustic halls

A new book has been published about the acoustics of performance halls – venues located both nationally and internationally – and it includes a feature on the superb acoustics of the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts at UW-Green Bay. The book titled The Acoustics of Performance Halls: Spaces for Music from Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl, is written by J. Christopher Jaffe, the acoustical architect for the Weidner Center when it was constructed in the early 1990s. While much of the book showcases his own premiere projects, Jaffe also spotlights several other venues as studies in superb acoustical architecture.
