New photos: Making a difference, one step at a time

Nearly 100 campus and community participants stepped out for a cause Saturday, Oct. 19, taking to the Cofrin Arboretum Trail for the eighth annual Steps to Make a Difference Walk. Organized by UW-Green Bay’s Phoenix Philanthropy Club and the Center for Public Affairs, this year’s event raised more than $3,000 for four local nonprofit organizations: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County, Fox/Wolf Watershed Alliance, Harmony Café of Green Bay and Literacy Green Bay. And while raising funds is critical, organizers and beneficiaries alike say raising awareness is just as important. Check out our new feature post for more on the event and some great new photos.
