Go Green! Phuture Phoenix photos
UW-Green Bay’s signature Phuture Phoenix program offered an action-packed campus tour day for local fifth-graders on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The program serves students from at-risk schools in Northeastern Wisconsin, encouraging them to think early and often about pursuing a college education. The fifth-graders team up with UW-Green Bay student mentors, many of whom are first-generation college students themselves, to visit classrooms and residence halls, engage in hands-on activities and learn what being a college student is all about. It’s a great day for photos, starting with the opening assembly at the Weidner Center and finishing only when the last school bus departs the campus.
