Social Media Advocacy Training returns
At UW-Green Bay, we rise together when we work as a team. Come learn how you can be an integral part of the University’s social media presence through this professional development opportunity!
The click-through rate on a piece of content is two times higher when shared on social media by an individual versus when shared by a brand (or a University, in this case.) Tapping into the power of engaged faculty, staff and student leaders who are eager to spread the word about UW-Green Bay helps strengthen brand awareness and spreads the UW-Green Bay story. Imagine: If 20 UW-Green Bay folks share with their 300 friends, that reaches thousands of people very quickly. Knowing social media algorithms prioritize connections with people, your voice is an important element of a thriving social media program.
Join us for social media advocacy training on Monday, October 17 in person in the 1965 Room, Green Bay Campus or virtually (email richterj@uwgb.edu to get link) to learn how to become an advocate for UW-Green Bay on social media. Two presentations will be offered: a morning session for student leaders and an afternoon session for faculty and staff:
Student Leader Social Media Advocacy Presentation
Monday, Oct. 17 at 10-11 a.m.
1965 Room, University Union or Teams
Faculty and Staff Social Media Advocacy Presentation
