Hammersmith inaugurated at Metropolitan State

Former UW-Green Bay Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Sue K. Hammersmith was officially inaugurated today, Oct. 2, as the sixth president of Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis. Hammersmith started there in July 2008. She served as UW-Green Bay’s provost since 2002. Oh, and if you’re wondering… as far as we know there will be no friendly Packers-Vikings game bets between Metropolitan’s new president and our new chancellor.
