Cheer squad welcomes Make-A-Wish family

The UW-Green Bay cheer squad served as the welcoming committee for an 18-year-old boy attending the Sept. 12 Packers vs. Bears game at Lambeau Field. The boy, Shawn, attended the game through the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin. The organization contacted UW-Green Bay and asked the cheer squad, which serves as one of the official cheerleading squads of the Green Bay Packers, to meet Shawn and his family at their hotel before the game. The squad did a few cheers for the family as they welcomed them to Green Bay from Cuba City, Wis.
