Open forums for multicultural adviser

There will be three open forums next week for candidates for the vacant Multicultural Adviser position in the American Intercultural Center. Candidates will introduce themselves and speak to their background and interest in the position.  They will also give a brief presentation on the question “What are some issues and trends affecting multicultural students today?”

All forums will take place in the American Intercultural Center/Student Life Suite, which is located in the lower level of the University Union.

  • Wednesday, Sept. 24, 10 to 11 a.m.
    Mr. Shawn Robinson, M. Ed. School Counseling, DePaul University, Chicago.
    Mr. Robinson is currently a High School Counselor for Chicago Public Schools
  • Thursday, Sept. 25, 2 to 3 p.m.
    Ms. Nicole Yang, M.A. Anthropology and Southeast Asian Studies (ABD), UW Madison
    Ms. Yang is currently the Diversity Coordinator for Lakeshore Technical College, Sheboygan
  • Friday, Sept. 26, 10 to 11 a.m.
    Ms. Mee Ho, M.A. Counseling in Higher Education, Lakeland College, Sheboygan,
    Ms. Ho currently works for the Brown County Health Department
