Obama letter, and Pride Center display

UW-Green Bay’s Pride Center display booth, at mid-day Monday in the University Union, featured a letter sent to select university and college campuses from President Obama (with a hand-signed photo) recognizing Monday as National LGBT Community Center Awareness Day. Obama wrote: “Over time, everyday acts of compassion and generosity can build a momentum for change that rises up to create a more just, more hopeful tomorrow… these centers improve lives and remind us of the ability we have to realize the future we seek.” See photo.
