It was a day of remembrance across the state, the nation and the world today, the eighth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. On campus, we remember, too, and honor those fallen in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. Today’s homepage, www.uwgb.edu, shows a commemorative Sept. 11 flag flying on the new flagpoles outside of Lambeau Cottage on the campus bayshore. The flag was a gift from Marcia Mueller, sister of the late Craig A. Mueller, a UW-Green Bay grad and philanthropist. The Muellers were given the flag by friends in the New York City police and fire departments. It will be flown once a year — from daybreak to sunset on Sept. 11. Click here for more.
