Class gets theatrical opening via interdisciplinary teamwork

The semester’s opening session in instructor Karen Dalke’s first-year seminar in Urban and Regional Studies made a big impression with a creative idea. The seminar, “Animals and Society,” opened with an entertaining, improvisational sketch examining the role of humans in relation to other species through what we eat. Dalke credits students under the direction of theatre Prof. Laura Riddle for their fine work in the performance at the Weidner Center’s Jean Weidner Theatre. See photos and more.
