Don’t be alarmed: County’s bomb squad, robot to pay us a visit Monday
Don’t be alarmed on Monday (Aug. 27) if you see the Brown County Bomb Squad on campus. Law enforcement personnel will be conducting training exercises (they’ll have their bomb-removal robot along) and will spend most of the workday at the Kress Center, Weidner Center and the Language House going through various scenarios. UW-Green Bay Police Chief Tom Kujawa says he invited Brown County to do the training here because it’s additional exposure to emergency management procedures for members of the campus force and, as important, it ties in with his ongoing efforts to get partner agencies better acquainted with the UW-Green Bay campus, layout and personnel. Kujawa says he’ll offer additional detail closer to Monday’s training.
