Survey shows incoming freshmen highly engaged

We recently told you about UW-Green Bay’s incoming freshman class having the highest ACT scores in school history. It turns out the incoming class is not only bright, but it is also very engaged. According to the national survey project called the Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (“Bessie,” for short), this year’s freshman class has a significantly higher educational engagement score than the last class measured back in 2007. That means, analysts say, the students starting at UW-Green Bay this year have been more engaged during high school and are eager to have an engaging college experience.
