Phuture Phoenix trademarked

“Phuture Phoenix” is now a registered trademark with the state of Wisconsin. Both the words and the program’s logo are now offered the protections under the trademark, which became official July 22 as authorized by Secretary of State Douglas La Follette. It means the words and logo are protected from use by others without the University’s express permission. University legal counsel recommended Phuture Phoenix take this action as the precollege program is being replicated at other schools under different names.
