Before that, she spent more than two decades as a gerontologist, professor of psychology, department chair and dean at the University of Northern Iowa.

In Green Bay, Wallace succeeds Susan K. Hammersmith, who served the University from 2002 until May 2008 when she became president of Metropolitan State University in Minnesota’s Twin Cities, and Bill Laatsch, who served as interim provost in the year following Hammersmith’s resignation.
