Former Phoenix Banks is soccer standout in Rochester

JC Banks, a high-scoring star for UW-Green Bay a few years ago, is making a bid for promotion to major-league American soccer with his play for his East Coast club, the Rochester Rhinos. When the 22-year-old scores or sets up a teammate for a goal, they almost always win. They’re 15-1-2 over the past two seasons, including 8-1-1 this year, when Banks registers at least a point.
