Positive indicators on the enrollment front

There is uplifting news out of admissions and enrollment today. Summer Preview Days are so popular they have been capped. On July 31, 289 guests (98 of those are potential UW-Green Bay students), and on Aug. 7, 302 guests (109 potential UWGB students) will attend Summer Campus Preview Days. (Both dates have wait lists). It is the first time that Admissions has closed Summer Campus Preview Days so far in advance. Jen Jones, Assistant Director for Admissions Marketing, Media and Recruitment, credits increased visibility through digital advertising and increased and more targeted invites to students and families. This year’s invite list also included ACT name purchases from local, Illinois and Michigan residents, who based on specific criteria, are considered “good fits” for UWGB. Jones says it seems a good indicator of interest in those applying for admission for fall 2016. Students can still take advantage of daily visits and Fall Campus Preview Days. The admissions’ staff sends “a huge thank you to all the staff, students and faculty who work together to show off all that our amazing campus offers.”
