Eagle Scout helps spruce up Ecumenical Center garden
Notice anything different about the Ecumenical Center? Ben Marker of Troop 1197 recently completed his Eagle Scout service project by refurbishing the garden area at the Ecumenical Center at UW-Green Bay. Marker led the efforts of over 35 volunteer youth and youth advisers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who put in several hours of work last Tuesday (June 22) evening. Volunteers trimmed grass, pulled weeds, dug up sod, pruned bushes, spread woodchips and planted a variety of (donated) perennial plants to spruce up the garden and surrounding areas at the center.
