Women’s hoops alum Eichler to play with all-star team in China

Recent grad Sarah Eichler of the Phoenix women’s basketball team will play with the NetScouts Basketball USA All-Star team during a tournament in China June 17-30. The US team will play a round-robin tournament in three Chinese cities, for a total of nine games. “I was really excited to get the call to go and play in China and represent the USA,” Eichler told UW-Green Bay Athletics’ Ryan Hartwig. “It will be a great way to get myself ready for playing international basketball. I have never traveled this far for anything before, and it’s really amazing to see all the new places that the game of basketball can take you.” For more on Eichler and the tournament, click here.
