Educators, business professionals, community organizations, members of the public and others are invited to take part in the Institute for Learning Partnership’s 15th annual Fall Conference, to be held Thursday, Oct. 17 and Friday, Oct. 18 at UW-Green Bay. Titled “We are More Alike than Different: Strategies for Leadership and Success,” the event is designed for educators and others who desire to provide practical strategies for understanding Hispanic, African American, Hmong, Native American, poverty, LGBTQ and multicultural youth cultures, and also Response to Intervention (RTI). The sessions will focus on understanding various cultures and how they relate to learning and student success. For more information, contact the Institute’s Juliet Cole at 465-5555.
