’80s Phlashback: Alums’ decade-themed water station is tops at Cellcom

Congratulations are in order for the ever-hardworking and immensely fashionable volunteers who manned the UWGB Alumni Association/KI water station during the May 18 Cellcom Green Bay Marathon. Not only did they do a great job keeping runners hydrated and motivated, but they’ve also been named the winner of the marathon’s water stop theme contest. “We pulled out our colorful clothes from the 80s and rocked out to Rocker while enjoying a beautiful day with fellow alumni,” says a post on the Alumni Association Facebook page. “Even Phlash got in on it, wearing hot pink legwarmers!
