Weidner grandson makes family double proud with pair of degrees
Mark Klotzbuecher says one of his memories of his late grandfather, Edward Weidner, was that UW-Green Bay’s founding chancellor told him that he should not worry about graduate school, just get going and apply. He told Mark that he had confidence in his ability to succeed. Well, we see that Klotzbuecher, a 2009 Human Biology graduate of UW-Green Bay, recently graduated from the University of Vermont Law School with double-hooded distinction. He received his Juris Doctorate and Master’s of Environmental Law and Policy in the graduate ceremony. Mark’s parents — Karen Weidner and Kurtis Klotzbuecher, both 1974 graduates of UW-Green Bay — traveled from the family’s Twin Cities home to attend the ceremony. Mark plans on applying for admission to the New York State Bar Association.
