Marathon grads: Some 'walking' Saturday will run Sunday

One of our LOG correspondents mentions that it’s an extra-special weekend for some graduating UW-Green Bay seniors. And they won’t be staying up late Saturday night (May 16) to celebrate Commencement, because they have 26 miles (or 13 miles) to run early the next morning. Just among former Phoenix athletes, there will be a big contingent with Callie Bartell, Alison Furton (December grad) and Kendelle Krause of the women’s cross country team and Rochelle Meulemans and Chelsea Lyga of volleyball competing in the annual Cellcom Green Bay Marathon.
