Phoenix golfers take runner-up honors in Horizon League championship

The UW-Green Bay men’s golf team matched its best finish ever, taking second place honors in the recent 2010 Horizon League Championships. The Phoenix was just six strokes behind first-place Detroit. The Phoenix was paced by freshman Chad Ebert, who claimed individual runner-up honors by posting an even par 216 for 48 holes. He was named to the all-tournament team and was also named Newcomer of the Year. Other Phoenix honors include Austin Ehlenfeldt and Adam Austreng on the All-League Team and Phoenix coach Bill Lindmark was Co-Coach of the Year. Scores and everything can be found online.
