Summer camp staffer and former student wins Fulbright trip

Carrie Fonder, co-director of the 2010 UW-Green Bay Summer Art Studio camps, earned her teacher certification here at UW-Green Bay. That’s why folks in Outreach and arts offices across campus will be interested to know she has just been awarded a Fulbright award to travel to India. Holder of an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BFA from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Fonder has taught elementary art in the Green Bay Area Public Schools and she is the owner of Raw Materials, a sculpture and design studio. One of her recent sculptures, Renewal, graces the Fox River Trail in Green Bay. Congratulations to her.
